	So much has happened over the past year and especially since September 11th. Our hearts and prayers go out to the many families who have lost love ones. It has truly been a sobering experience, yet I have found encouragement in watching how our country has rallied together as a nation. Our country has now experienced the reality of terrorism which many other nations in the world have experienced and lived under. Now we are challenged to continue to live our lives as a free people who will not be discouraged or live in fear.


	Hondurans have lived under the threat of violence for many years. It was the escalation of violence and terrorism that brought our family and team back from Honduras temporarily halting the work of READI teams there. Since, we have been challenged to continue our lives, as many Americans are now being challenged, despite the threat of possible violence. Although we felt it was time for READI teams to return to Honduras and resume its vital work with the Honduran people, it has been impossible due to the lack of financial support. Will you join with us making the work of READI teams possible once again? We need your help!
